Good thermal insulation

The RenoMatic sectional garage door is double-walled

thermally insulated. Thanks to its 42 mm thick panels, the door runs smoothly and quietly. 

The panelspanels are coated with a polyester primer on the outside. The inside of the panels is available with a silver-colored zinc coating with protective lacquer.

The tension spring technology with the patented spring-in-spring system or the torsion spring with tested spring break protection protects the door leaf from falling down. Thanks to their good thermal insulation, the doors are ideal if your garage is directly connected to your home or if you have access to your home from the garage.

Optimal and durable protection

The 4 cm high plastic frame base, which is resistant to brittleness, provides long-term protection for the frame against possible corrosion and, unlike solutions from other manufacturers, even against persistent water damage. The frame base completely encloses the frame in the rust-sensitive area. This is how Hörmann demonstrates what lasting protection means.

Increased burglary protection

The RenoMatic sectional garage door is equipped with an automatic door lock. When the garage door is closed, the lift-up protection automatically clicks into the stop on the guide rail. This locks it securely in place and protects it against being lifted. This door lock is completely mechanical and therefore works even without a drive motor or power supply. 

With the same appearance

The harmonious overall appearance of the doors is created by many small details. For example, we always supply the lintel adjustment panel in a color that matches the door color. The side frames always feature the Woodgrain surface, traffic white RAL 9016 (similar to the white surface of doors with M-profiling). For doors with the Planar surface, colored doors, or Decocolor doors, optional frame coverings are available in the same surface as the doors. This ensures that everything matches perfectly.

Automatic comfort

The RenoMatic is available with the ProMatic drive and the 4-button HSE 4 hand transmitter. BS or with the SupraMatica drive and the 5-button HS 5 BS handheld transmitter (Supramatic E only applicable to Renomatic Planar).  The patented drive technology with guide rail ensures quiet and smooth door operation. In addition, the reliable automatic cut-off function stops the door when it encounters an obstacle.

BiSecur radio system with certified security

The bidirectional BiSecur radio system represents future-oriented technology for convenient and secure operation of garage door and entrance gate operators, door operators, lighting, and more. The extremely secure BiSecur encryption procedure developed by Hörmann, with its stable, interference-free range, gives you the assurance that no one can copy your radio signal.  The system has been tested and certified by the safety experts at the Ruhr University in Bochum.

Safe operation
